My Story
My journey to becoming a Certified Postpartum Doula began during the COVID-19 pandemic, when hospitals still had strict visitor restrictions in place. At the time, my daughter was expecting her first baby, and the only way I would be allowed to support her in the delivery room was by becoming a certified doula.
What started as a way to be there for my daughter quickly became so much more.
As I completed my training and immersed myself in the doula community, I witnessed firsthand how many women were navigating pregnancy, birth, and postpartum recovery without the support they truly needed. I saw exhausted parents trying to do it all on their own, families struggling to find guidance, and mothers putting everyone else's needs before their own.
The experience opened my eyes to the incredible difference compassionate support can make during one of life's biggest transitions.
After spending years in a corporate career, I made the life-changing decision to follow my heart and dedicate myself to helping families. Today, I have the privilege of supporting parents as they welcome their babies, find their confidence, and create space for rest, healing, and connection.
As a mother, grandmother, and certified postpartum doula, I understand that every family's journey is unique. My goal is to provide nurturing, judgment-free support so parents feel empowered, cared for, and never alone during the postpartum season.
What began as a desire to support my daughter became a calling to support families throughout the Bay Area—and it is truly an honor to be part of their journey.
